My name is Elizabeth. Welcome to my corner of the internet.
Guys, guys look, you can see me crowdsurfing around 2:10!
I gotta say, being on the crowd’s hands when the band went silent and we all sang “why can’t I feel anything from anyone other than you?” was incredible.
While We’re Up, a small band from Arizona, were following Vans Warped Tour this summer until they were involved in a fatal accident this past Sunday. Singer and guitarist Zach Booher was killed immediately and Steven Rouk (another band member) and Trevor McCoy (another passenger in the vehicle) were airlifted to nearby hospitals. Following the news, the Acoustic Basement Stage at Warped Tour has set up a donation-fund for the band’s family. You can read a message from the band and see what the Acoustic Basement donation message says below by clicking “Read More.”
Warped Tour To Expand Into South America
Very sad. :(
Taking Back Sunday
You Me At Six (if they play my date)
We Are The Ocean (same as above)
Sleeping With Sirens
I NEED TO GO TO WARPED THIS YEAR!!!! I need to see TBS, Mayday Parade, All Time Low, You Me at Six, Bayside, Tonight Alive, and We the Kings. WHY CAN’T I FIND ANYONE TO GO WITH?!!?
YOU CAN GO WITH MEEEEE.
except if you’re coming to the Charlotte date, YMAS isn’t playing. :(
And finally, that time I saw them at Warped Tour. Probably my favourite of the times I’ve seen them.
16. A The Cab concert experience (or if you haven’t seen them, where/when you’d like to!)
I’ve decided to talk about the last time I saw them, at Warped 2010.
The thing is, I LOVE WARPED TOUR SO MUCH. I love the heat, the sweat, the messiness, the noise…it’s so much fun. So naturally, seeing one of my favourite bands there is the best thing ever.
The highlight of the day was this:
My friend and I were front row, and during One of Those Nights he came right up to us, decided that it would be a great idea to change the lyrics to “how could you leave this behind?” and do that in our direction. (I assume it was at us because we were the only people on that side of the stage dancing and singing. We were the party side, as he said later.)
Later, I got a really cute picture with Joey and met them all, including Charles who was still playing with them at the time. I also got my “have a little faith in me” bracelet that day.
and this one too because even though no one’s really smiling (‘cept Maika which is unusual…) I was really happy! And I miss the summertime. I used to really love winter.
because they are perfect and this was my favourite picture that I took at Warped. I like how it’s all four of them, getting ready to rock everyone’s heart out.
Today we bring you the latest track from our hometown buddies in Lights Resolve, “Happens Every Day”, off of their long awaited full-length debut, Feel You’re Different. The record is set to be released October 25th, 2011. This track is a 90’s influenced punk-rock fusion of angst, melody and downright filth. This band buzzed hard in 2009, playing Bamboozle, SXSW, CMJ and Warped Tour; Rolling Stone even awarded them ‘Breakout Band’ of that year. This track is a sure start to getting their name back on the map.
