Hitting the road.
I’m heading to see William Beckett tomorrow with Erin! Pretty psyched. Hopefully I’m going to see a lot of old friends up there.
If you need me, tweet me at @agentelectric! Or tag stuff with “elizabethkate” and I’ll see it when I come home on Tuesday night.
XOXO

I am brutal.
Twin Atlantic was Scottish and awesome. I swooned. And they did not play What Is Light? Where Is Laughter? or Human After All which made me kind of sad but I’ll see them again at Warped.
AWOLNATION was like being inducted into a cult. The experience of seeing Sail live reminded me of hearing Vampires Will Never Hurt you live last year. It was insane and gorgeous and more than a little scary.
Neon Trees was better than the first time I saw them, but god, they need to have more boring opening acts. They were totally upstaged. Tyler is a phenomenal performer though and it was fun.
(I gotta say though, singing along to Call Me Maybe on the way home was the best part. Like I said. Brutal.)

It has been one year since I saw My Chemical Romance in Atlanta.
To be honest, I am surprised that I made it through that year in one piece.
I have one more final to do and I’ll be a high school graduate.
I’m starting to believe that whole “living well is the best revenge” shtick.
And anyways, I’m happy. Thanks to Cat and Erin and Kari and Mom and Stella and Chris and Aaron and Drew and my therapist and all of the Cab fans and internet friends like Erin and Eliana (who I made friends with more recently but whatever she’s awesome) and the people at work like D and J and the Starbucks girls and everyone who works at The Casbah because I’ve had more life-changing moments in that stuffy little room than anywhere else and I am so fucking happy I’m here.
Also, I’m almost 18. Can’t wait to do adult things like…..uhm….vote.

I got to see these girls on Sunday and have a group birthday party with them. We all have birthdays within a month or so of each other, and we have known each other since elementary. Fittingly, we had this party on The Cab Day.

We’re all just kids that grew up way too fast.

(Funny how the grainier and more filtered the picture is, the better I look. That must be the appeal of Instagram. No, it’s not your skin, it’s vintage!)

Say hi to my best monkey friend, Jamie.
This is GPOY-Concert-Exhaustion edition. Also post-shower. I am disheveled. I had fun.
Asheville is gorgeous as always.
I got to walk around the city with Kari and Cat and I had the best veggie burger I’ve ever tasted.
The opening bands for SA were all pretty good. Fake Problems was my favourite of the three. (Though they’re better live than they are recorded.)
Say Anything was, of course, phenomenal.
They had a pretty interesting setlist. They didn’t play any of my all-time favourites, but that was okay because I could concentrate on just having fun.
That being said, I started crying to Eloise. I know why, but it was still kind of weird.
Sherri came out for So Good and I just kind of died from the cute.
There’s really nothing weirder or funnier than a room full of people all monologuing to Property together.
It was bizarre seeing Siska playing with them but it was great to see him onstage again.
Max Bemis is one of the most captivating frontmen I’ve ever watched. I’m glad I was near the stage with a clear view to watch him spaz out.
Great show, I took a long nap today but I’m still tired, and I would like to see them again now please.

12: A picture/drawing/skillful MS Paint crop of you & a member(s) of The Cab.

Honestly I HATE most of my pictures with them. I have crazy eyes and I was 15 years old. This one though was taken at Warped ‘10 and I think it’s pretty cute. :)

Thinking of wearing this dress for my senior pictures.
Also, how’s this for a senior quote:
