Sex Life Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows

Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows // Sex Life

To the people who have been making up rumours behind my back since I was 14, and to the people asking me invasive questions and giving me unwanted advice today….

I leave you with this song.

My Swagger Has A First Name - Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows

Yeah so after hating this band I saw them at Warped and they absolutely killed it so now I like them.

Oh, so everyone knows, I no longer allow anonymous questions

I want to know who I’m talking to instead of having a back and forth with an empty face.

Also, if you can’t say anything nice….don’t say anything at all, really.

Please do not tell me about my exboyfriend, including giving me unasked for advice, if you aren’t even brave enough to give me a name to respond to.

That’s all. Thank you for your time.

In hindsight, when that anon asked about my last sexual encounter, I should’ve said “There For Tomorrow at warped tour.” Ask me a nosey question and you shall get a snarky reply…I deleted all the messages anyway.

ghostsandonionskins:

It fell from my lips like the fall
and its leaves as they give up the ghost
these words like a beggar, they crawl
like the secrets we’d whispered up close
when we slept on a bed made for one
saying words for the feel of the breath
on our necks till we whispered no more
in our sleep that felt deeper than death

And if what I am saying is sweet
I can promise it’s only for you
it sits like an ex-lover’s roses
to those who might doubt I am true
But I’ve practiced my song in the silence
and I’ve left lady doubt far behind
My hands have prepared night and day now
on your curves, deeply etched in my mind

So give me your breath till I take it
I’ll teach you that lips might attend
things better than words and still softer
than any love poetry penned.

WARPED RECAP

This’ll be kind of long, but it deserves every word. I had such an amazing time.

I loved Warped last year, but it was very hot and my first time. This year was a little cooler and I saw more bands, did more crazy stuff, and had a way better time.

No one my group wanted to see was playing until 2, so we walked through the merch tents and nonprofits for a couple hours. Reliant K played at 1, so we ended up seeing them. We ended up on the barrier of the split stage, and watched D.R.U.G.S. Before I saw them, I really disliked them. After seeing them, they are growing on me a lot. Craig Owens is such a commanding frontman. It was really intense to watch and I enjoyed it a lot.

Every Avenue played next, and I absolutely loved them. The power went out after three songs, and didn’t come back on for almost fifteen minutes. I felt awful for them but they handled it well; they threw a lot of free stuff into the crowd and we did the wave several times. They came back on and played three more songs.

We watched The Ready Set next, and the only word that really comes to mind is “adorable.” The music was so cute and Jordan was jumping around like a tiny kangaroo. Catherine ended up meeting him later and she said he was totally wiped out.

We had a bit of a break then and we walked around some more. We walked by There For Tomorrow’s tent and found out they were doing a full band photo op thing, so I have pictures with them to develop. We went back later and got a picture with Chris too. They are such nice guys, I love them.

Then we saw Black Veil Brides, and I know I’m going to catch flac for this but I really enjoyed them. The energy was insane and Andy sounded great live. Crowdsurfing to Fallen Angels was awesome.

Catherine and Jess left, so Erin and I continued on to see There For Tomorrow. We had to miss Gym Class Heroes, which sucked, but TFT was great. It was a small stage, but the crowd was big. Maika sounded flawless, and I’ve never really appreciated how great of a musician Christian is. And I know I’ve gone on and on about the basslines before.

Lastly, we saw Family Force 5, which was insane and bizzare and awesome. I don’t even have words for most of it, it was so strange. When they came out they had balloons with their faces on them attached to backpacks. During the last song their singer got in this huge plastic hamster ball and rolled around the crowd. It was a huge party.

Merchwise, I picked up a To Write Love On Her Arms bracelet, a There For Tomorrow tank, and the new Every Avenue CD (which is not available anywhere besides Warped Tour yet.) I took pictures with a disposable camera and I’ll scan and post them when they’re developed.

Warped was awesome, dude

I’ll write a full recap later when I have time. For now, though, it was super fun and as crazy as usual.

Tonight, I did the Time Warp onstage with the cast of Rocky Horror

It was awesome.

Warped Tour tomorrow.

It’s been a good week.
