I want to make sure no one dies because of who they love again.
Asher Brown came home from school last Thursday while his parents were at work. He shot himself in the head after enduring what his mother and stepfather say was constant harassment from four other students at Hamilton Middle School in Houston.
He used his stepfather’s 9mm Beretta, stored on a closet shelf, to kill himself. He left no note.

This boy was a child. Dead at thirteen years old, never to fall in love or have a career. Never to own a car or go to high school. Never to grow up.
This is the third anti-gay harassment related suicide this month.
That is completely unacceptable. From now on, I am literally going to do everything in my power to stop these terrible, horrifying things from happening. Maybe I’ll become a social worker or a psychologist. Anything to help these children.
(Please reblog, copy and paste, just spread Asher’s story as far and as wide as you can.)
