Robert Frost, "Stopping By Woods On a Snowy...
sharingpoetry:
Whose woods these are I think I know. His house is in the village though; He will not see me stopping here To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer To stop without a farmhouse near Between the woods and frozen lake The darkest evening of the year. He gives his harness bells a shake To ask if there is some mistake. The only other sound’s the...

I really don't think there's a way I can like...

And no, this isn’t hatred, nor is this BBC-Sherlock-is-superior babbling. Up until now I’ve been willing to give it a chance, and when it does air, I’m still going to give it one last shot to impress me with its first episode. But I now know that unless they pull off some crazy switcheroo, I’m going to be disappointed. (I’m not even going to mention the NYC...

So, is that what you call a getaway? Tell me what you got away with. Cause I’ve seen more spine in jellyfish. I’ve seen more guts in eleven-year-old kids. Have another drink and drive yourself home. I hope there’s ice on all the roads. And you can think of me when you forget your seatbelt, and again when your head goes through the windshield. And is that what you call tact?...

Shaken up
My childhood friend, Brendan, who lived next door to me in Ohio, goes to the high school in Chardon that just had a shooting. He and his sister are okay, thank God.
Please keep Chardon High School in your thoughts and prayers….
I can’t believe there aren’t more people talking about this. There has been a school shooting. Why is everyone silent?

Dancing
confettionthefloor:
“There’s been an accident,” the policeman says as you push through the door to take a look at it, and it’s grisly and gory like a B movie and you know the driver’s face. It’s the letdown after the supposed end when no one has died and the lights come in, and you’re on the floor cause you can’t get up. It’s hell. It’s hell. It’s hell. You can’t tell a soul what you see...

lipstick on a burning soul
symphonysoldier:
there’s nothing left but skin and bones.
so tell me where you want to go,
we’re setting fire to solid gold.
lipstick on a burning soul.
we made a bed of gasoline.
you left a match between the sheets.
your pearly whites sink into me,
just to taste what’s underneath.
if i ignite you, can i put you out?
out of the ashes comes another shout.
i never meant to burn you...
If I never post again it’s because I died from my love for William Beckett and drowned in my tears.
